1. About these terms
These terms apply to the mobile game Pixel Munch (the "App") and this website. They are provided by:
Računalniško programiranje, Alexandre Georges Michel Pierre Grisey s.p.
Sole proprietor registered in Slovenia · Registration number 7581386000 · VAT ID SI92114466
Trg borcev NOB 19, 1431 Dol pri Hrastniku, Slovenia
Email: alexandre@pishko-tech.com
"We" and "us" mean this business. By using the App you accept these terms. If you don't, please don't use it. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have under mandatory consumer or data protection law.
2. Store licence and who can play
The App is licensed to you, not sold. If you got it from the Apple App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement is the licence, and the App Store terms apply; if you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service apply. These terms add what is specific to Pixel Munch. Where they conflict with the store's licence on a licensing matter, the store's licence wins. Apple and Google are not parties to these terms and are not responsible for the App or its support.
If you are under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you and approve any purchase. Apple's Screen Time and Google's Family Link let parents require approval for purchases.
3. The game and your progress
Pixel Munch is a free, single-player puzzle game with optional in-app purchases and ads. There are no accounts, no chat and no multiplayer. You can play offline; ads, purchases, restoring purchases and the Support form need an internet connection.
Your progress, coins and items are saved on your device only. Deleting the App, resetting or losing your device without a device backup can erase them, and we cannot restore them. Restoring purchases brings back "No Ads", not your progress or consumable items.
4. Coins, lives and other in-game items
- Coins, lives, boosters, unlimited-lives time and other in-game items (together "items") are a limited, personal licence to use content inside the App. They are not money or property, have no value outside the App, and cannot be exchanged for real money, refunded by us, or transferred to another person or device, except where the law requires otherwise.
- You earn items by playing (level rewards, win streaks, daily gifts, chests, rewarded videos) or buy them. Every price in coins is shown in the App before you spend them.
- We may change how items are earned and what they cost in coins, to keep the game balanced. We will not take away items you have already bought, except when the purchase is refunded or reversed, or to correct an obvious error in how items were credited.
- Don't use cheats, modified versions of the App or tools that change your items or progress.
5. Purchases, restoring and refunds
The App offers optional one-off purchases: Starter Pack (once per player), No Ads, coin packs and the Munch Bundle. None is a subscription or renews automatically. The price, in your local currency and including applicable taxes, is shown by Apple or Google before you confirm.
- Payment. Apple or Google sells and bills the purchase under their terms. We never see your payment details. Our purchase service, RevenueCat, verifies each purchase with the store before it is credited.
- Delivery. Items are credited right after the store confirms payment. A purchase that needs approval (Ask to Buy, a pending payment) is credited when it is approved, the next time the App is open.
- Restoring. "No Ads" is linked to your store account: restore it on a new or reset device with Settings → Restore purchases (or from the Shop), signed in to the same store account. Coin packs, the Starter Pack and the Munch Bundle are consumed when credited and cannot be restored.
- Refunds. Refunds are handled by the store: on Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, on Google Play from your order history. We have no blanket "no refunds" rule, and your statutory rights, including any right of withdrawal and remedies for faulty digital content, stay unaffected. A refunded purchase may be removed from the App.
- A problem with a purchase? Reopen the App with an internet connection, then try Restore purchases. If something is still missing, contact us through Settings → Support so we can look it up.
6. Ads and No Ads
The App is funded by ads from Google AdMob: full-screen ads between levels and rewarded videos. Rewarded videos are always optional: you choose to watch one for a bonus, and the bonus is given once the video is complete. No Ads removes the ads between levels permanently for your store account and adds bonus coins; rewarded videos stay available because they are your choice. Ads are provided by third parties: we are not responsible for their content or for the sites and apps they link to, but please tell us about an inappropriate ad. How ads use your data is explained in the Privacy Policy.
7. Permitted use and ownership
You may use the App for your own, non-commercial entertainment. The App's software, pictures, characters, levels, sounds, music, texts and the name Pixel Munch belong to us or our licensors; buying items gives you no ownership of them. Don't copy, resell, rent or redistribute the App, bypass purchase verification, interfere with its services, or reverse engineer it, except where the law or an open-source licence expressly allows it. Third-party components remain under their own licences.
8. Privacy, reminders and support
The Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses. Accepting these terms is not a consent to processing that needs a separate consent.
Reminders (lives full, daily gift ready) are optional: turn them on or off with Settings → Reminders or in your device settings.
For help, use Settings → Support in the App or write to alexandre@pishko-tech.com. We provide support for the App, not Apple or Google.
9. Updates and availability
We may release updates that fix problems, add content, change the game balance or keep the App compatible and secure, and some may be needed to keep playing. We will provide the updates the law requires. We don't promise that the App will run on every device or future operating system, or that it will be available forever. If we stop offering it, we will not take away "No Ads" or items you have bought while the App still runs on your device, and your statutory rights for purchased content remain.
10. Warranties and liability
We make the App with reasonable care and skill, but we can't guarantee it will always be free of errors or interruptions. Your legal rights for digital content that is faulty or not as described remain unaffected.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable, or for business losses, since the App is for personal entertainment. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for intent, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.
11. Applicable law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Slovenia. If you are a consumer, you keep the mandatory protections of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts there.
Please contact us first so we can try to solve the problem together; this is not a condition for using your legal rights. We have not committed to using an out-of-court (alternative) dispute resolution body for consumer disputes. If we cannot settle a complaint with you, you can still contact your national consumer authority or go to court.
12. Changes and other provisions
We may update these terms when the App or the law changes. The date at the top shows the current version. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell you in the App. Changes never reduce your rights for a purchase you have already made.
If a provision of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a provision right away, we have not waived it. You can stop using the App at any time by deleting it; this does not by itself refund a purchase or delete data our providers already hold (see the Privacy Policy).
